Site Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review cost estimates for all site works, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Manage and oversee claims from main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
3. Handle contractual matters related to main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers claims and negotiations.
4. Assist in the preparation and management of construction contracts, including tenders and award procedures.
5. Ensure proper pre-subcontract management, including scope of work and contractual obligations.
6. Monitor and control project costs, providing timely reports and recommendations.
7. Liaise with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance.
8. Maintain thorough documentation of all contract-related activities and correspondence.
9. Support in resolving contractual disputes and claims efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract management, cost estimation, and claims handling within the construction industry.
- Knowledgeable in cost estimation, construction contracts, and claims management.
- Strong understanding of pre- and post-contract procedures.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
