Senior Engineer – Non-Revenue Water (NRW)

Based In Based at Headquarters - Subang Jaya, Selangor

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor project schedules and site progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Prepare and compile all supporting documents for Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
  • Supervise project teams in executing scheduled preventive maintenance and NRW works.
  • Ensure projects meet performance targets in time, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of progress claims and follow up on certification.
  • Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) requirements.
  • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to clients and management.
  • Rectify outstanding works and manage defects during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
  • Coordinate and maintain effective working relationships with clients, authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements.
  • Provide effective site supervision, coordination, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct post-mortem analysis on complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • 6–10 years of relevant working experience for Senior Engineer role.
  • Prior experience in the water industry, particularly Non-Revenue Water (NRW) projects, is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with site teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and ability to supervise site and project teams.
  • Strong coordination and teamwork skills across NRW, O&M, and contractor teams.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Sound decision-making and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
  • Able to adapt to site conditions and operational changes.
  • Demonstrates high integrity, accountability, and compliance awareness.
