Senior Engineer – Non-Revenue Water (NRW)
Based In Based at Headquarters - Subang Jaya, Selangor
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor project schedules and site progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Prepare and compile all supporting documents for Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
- Supervise project teams in executing scheduled preventive maintenance and NRW works.
- Ensure projects meet performance targets in time, cost, quality, and safety.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of progress claims and follow up on certification.
- Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) requirements.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to clients and management.
- Rectify outstanding works and manage defects during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
- Coordinate and maintain effective working relationships with clients, authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements.
- Provide effective site supervision, coordination, and problem resolution.
- Conduct post-mortem analysis on complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution.
- 6–10 years of relevant working experience for Senior Engineer role.
- Prior experience in the water industry, particularly Non-Revenue Water (NRW) projects, is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with site teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and ability to supervise site and project teams.
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills across NRW, O&M, and contractor teams.
- Excellent time management with the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Sound decision-making and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
- Able to adapt to site conditions and operational changes.
- Demonstrates high integrity, accountability, and compliance awareness.
