Job Description

1. Manage day to day operations of the accounting function.
2. Responsible for cashflow management involving preparation of quarterly cashflow forecast.
3. On-time closure of monthly accounts.
4. Review of monthly financial performance against budget.
5. Preparation of annual financial budget for Board’s approval.
6. Adherence to financial policies and procedures ensuring smooth financial process flow.
7. Continuous improvement in internal control system to ensure effective and efficient running of operation.
8. Liaison with bankers on new and existing project financing.
9. Liaison with external auditor for annual statutory audit and tax agent on tax compliance matter.
10. Other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance or Professional Qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• At least 3 – 5 years working experience (with min 2 years auditing experience).
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and application of MFRS.
• Experience in system implementation and improvement will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross function.
• Strong analytical mind with good business acumen.
• Knowledge of fixed asset register and stock-card for inventories.
