Salcon Group’s Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (PROTÉGÉ) programme is our commitment to help Malaysian talents and to add value to the national economy. We are offering a great opportunity for you to be part of the PROTÉGÉ programme at Salcon Group which aims to develop and guide you with necessary skills and experience in the water and wastewater industry. This is a 8-month programme with 2 weeks of soft skill training and 30 weeks of on-the-job training. You will be assigned to various business units/operation units/support units to learn practical skills and real-life experiences at Salcon Group that will help guide you towards a successful career development.

Responsibilities

• Experience and complete assigned tasks by assisting with day-to-day operations with the assigned business unit/operation unit/support unit.
• Participate in learning opportunities and engagement activities.
• Observe and learn from experienced staff members on day to day operations and tasks.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen only.
• Fresh graduates with a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree from any local or foreign higher learning institution that is recognised by the Government of Malaysia in:
  • Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental / Chemical)
  • Quantity Surveying
  • QA/QC
  • Business Admin
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Environmental & Sustainability
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Obtain CGPA 2.8 and above (or equivalent).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in basic Microsoft Office.
• Strong team player, self-motivated, driven and willing to learn.
• Preference will be given to fresh graduates with no prior working experience and who are currently unemployed.
