Salcon wastewater treatment division secures sewerage contract worth RM 20.85 million
SUBANG JAYA, 27 October 2021 - Salcon Berhad (“Salcon” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that Envitech Sdn Bhd, a 60% owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Berhad, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, was awarded a project for the proposed Stage 2 Rehabilitation of Vacuum Sewerage System at Bandar and Ambang Botanik, Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
The contract valued at RM20.85 million is a construction contract awarded by Gamuda Land (Botanic) Sdn Bhd for the design, submission, obtaining IWK/SPAN’s approval, construction, testing, commissioning and handing over to IWK UO Klang. The project is expected to be completed on 26 October 2022.

Our wastewater subsidiary, Envitech Sdn Bhd has 37 years of strong track record and expertise in the wastewater field and we are confident of carrying out the project to successful completion.” said Dato’ Eddy Leong, Executive Director of Salcon.
The Project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Salcon Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2021 and 31 December 2022.
