Salcon Subsidiary Bags RM9.95 Million job to build Sewage Treatment Plant

SUBANG JAYA, 20 July 2018–Salcon Berhad (“Salcon”) is pleased to announce that Envitech Sdn Bhd, a 60% owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Berhad, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salcon, has received a Letter of Award dated 16th July 2018 from Seriemas Development Sdn Bhd for the design and construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant and its associated works in Kuala Langat, Selangor.

The scope of contract comprises the design, obtaining approval, construction, completion, maintenance and handing over of proposed 1st Module Sewage Treatment Plant (37,500 population equivalent (PE)) with an ultimate capacity of 150,000 PE (4 modules).

The project will commence on 23 July 2018 and is estimated to be completed on 23 October 2019 i.e. project duration of 15 months.

Salcon’s orderbook currently stands at RM 1.44 billion including the RM71.3 million worth water contract awarded recently and the sewage treatment plant contract awarded today.
