Salcon’s 51.3% owned subsidiary. Eco-Coach & Tours (M) Sdn Bhd was awarded a four-year contract to provide transport services to Intel’s staff in Penang & Kulim. To date, Eco-Coach has a fleet of 102 vans, 35 coaches, 5 MPV, 25 limo services vehicles.
In line with Salcon’s environmental philosophy, the company has invested in the installation of solar photovoltaic systems on rooftops in 1600 homes in 23 southern areas of United Kingdom in order to reduce the UK’s carbon emissions by producing free electricity from the daylight.
As per the EU Renewable Energy Directive, the UK Government has committed to generate 15% of its energy from renewable energy sources by 2020. The UK government took the initiative to drive the growth of energy generation by renewable methods and start the transition to a low carbon economy.
Salcon, as an investor and Tenant under the UK Government’s Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) scheme, receives FIT tariffs which are not affected by the amount of free electricity consumed by homeowners.

Salcon Petroleum Services (SPS)
As part of Salcon’s energy division, Salcon Petroleum Services acts as an agent-service for foreign companies that would like to enter the Malaysia and Asia Pacific Oil & Gas market. Salcon Petroleum Services promote new companies in Malaysia, making sure all legal requirements (like PETRONAS licenses, local content etc.) are fulfilled, while acting as a proactive sales agent for all principals. SPS is also engaged in value-added services to our principals.
SPS is fully committed to represent principals and their products to clients in both Malaysia and the rest of Asia Pacific, if desired. We believe in having a trustworthy and transparent agent representing overseas companies in Malaysia and Asia Pacific is key to success for both business vise and to overcome challenges between Western and Eastern business cultures.
The executive management in Salcon’s energy division has brought in several foreign companies to Malaysia and grown their business in the larger Asia Pacific region. Salcon wants to build on this experience and offer a platform for growth for our principals.
