Technology that Salcon provided for water solutions are DAF System, Lamella System and Membrane System.

The "Dissolved Air Flotation" or DAF system uses micro-bubbles to float up solids onto the surface. The micro bubbles are released when dissolved air at a high pressure is released at atmospheric pressure in the tank.

The clarified water under the layer of floated sludge shall then be filtered in the sand filter. The sand filter could be constructed combined with the DAF tank or as a separate process structure.

The DAF technique is the most suitable process for highly-colored raw water with low turbidity, like dam or peat water.
